News - Helmet Education/Giveaways Report by Dan Baker (5/21/2003) Feb. 20, 2003 Dan Baker held an "Helmet Education" class at the Wee Center in Santa Fe as part of their Bike Week program. The Trauma Center at St. Vincent's supplied helmets that were given to children that needed them to participate in their "Rodeo" events during the week. This type of educational class are an ongoing part of what BCNM members are doing to take Bike Safety education to their communities. Partnering with the Helmet Program sposored by St. Vincent's, we have had several very successful and FUN "Rodeos" to promote safe riding with helmets.
