\New Mexico League Cycling Instructor Conference
The NM LCI Conference strives to bring together New Mexico’s League of American Bicyclists certified League Cycling Instructors (LCIs) once a year: for updates on the latest additions to the League of American Bicyclist Bike Education Program - Smart Cycling Curriculum (http://www.bikeleague.org/programs/education/); to learn how the Bicycle Coalition of New Mexico, through their Train the Trainer Program http://www.bikenm.org/education/qtrain-the-trainerq-program, supports individual LCIs and LCI Teams in teaching Smart Cycling Curriculum; to present new strategies for teaching Smart Cycling courses; to network with each other and form LCI Teaching Teams; to increase the number of teaching LCIs in NM; and to celebrate by riding our bikes together.
League Cycling Instructors (LCIs) are League certified instructors who teach the League’s copyrighted Smart Cycling Courses in their communities and strive to help cyclist/motorist become smarter and safer out on the road. Some LCIs primarily teach children/youth bike education, some LCIs focus on adult bike education and a few LCIs work with children, youth and adults.
While the NM LCI Conference is programmed with NM LCIs in mind anyone who is interested in Bike Education in NM is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Everyone can register to attend the NM LCI Conference regardless of whether they are an LCI or not, however all conference attendees must be current members of the Bicycle Coalition of New Mexico. To become a member of the Bicycle Coalition of New Mexico please go here.
