The BCNM Board has instituted a committee structure that is aligned with the League of American Bicyclists Equity Statement, consisting of the "Six E's" seen at bike league dot org.

Schools and Smart Cycling™: Traffic skills education for the public, engineers, enforcers, and legislators.

Public and private agencies: Advertising campaigns, promotions, etc.

Public agencies: Measurement of the effects of the other E's using relevant research methods and testing.
